Fearne Cotton
One of our favourite celebs is stepping out looking amazing yet again! This time she has tapped into one of the most exciting trends for Autumn and Winter – Lurex tights. They were shown on the catwalk at Anna Sui, Luella, Eley Kishimoto and Bluegirl and are one of the most exciting ways to add drama to a patterned dress, or simple shift. They look fabulous worn in the day with knee length boots and for night time they give a youthful edgey look to a little black dress and heels. So this Autumn shimmy on over to our lurex section to see how sparkling tights can add spice to your wardrobe.
Agyness Deyn
Agyness Deyn has been spotted strutting her stuff in the new craze of Henry Holland Tights. Not sure about the big fury animal she is sporting but the tightsplease ladies are defiantly in favour of the Colour Card Tights. The tights pictured are available in a range of colour to suit most outfits and trends. I personally love the black and the pink colours. The pink can brighten up any staple black dress while the black look effortlessly sexy teamed with high Courts and a cute mini. Pixie Geldof has also caught on to the Holland mania when she was pictured in the ‘Mock Stocks’.

On her 18th Birthday, Pixie Geldof celebrated by having a birthday lunch accompanied by her friends and family. Pixie later went on to enjoy her special day by treating herself as she went on a shopping spree on London's Oxford Street in London. Recently she has shown herself to be the ultimate it girl following in the footsteps of her mother Paula, by appearing as covergirl for society, glossy magazine Tatler twenty six years later. Here we see her sporting the latest trend this summer for over the knee socks. The trick to over the knees is making sure they are the right denier to fit your shoes. Red or Dead's 50 denier over the knees, or Wolford’s over the knees are made from opaque tights fabric which make them finer and easier to fit into ballet pumps or wear with heels for an evening look. The Pamela Mann over the knees and Falke Striggings ribbed or plain over the knees are thicker like socks and better for daytime. With the weather often wet and overcast - over the knees are the perfect way to accessorise your summer frock.

Lady Gaga arrives at London’s Heathrow Airport without her signature tea cup and saucer! This time she’s accessorised her outfit with pretty butterfly embellished shoes, butterfly sunglasses and a whopping umberella! The ones she’s wearing are a more open fishnet that we’ve also seen on the D&G spring / summer catwalk – fishnets from Levante are very similar.
