Leona got Simon's attention from the start when she auditioned in London singing a song by Eva Cassidy called Over The Rainbow. All three Judges from ITV's XFactor were impressed with the performance Leona made. Simon said she looked terrific and when it was good it was great. Louis agreed by saying Leona was the whole package. Simon, Sharon and Louis all sent Leona to Xfactor Boot Camp that day.

Leona is the middle child of three and has two brothers, Bradley and Kyle. Leona has been singing like an angle since she could talk, but really started to whet her talent when she enrolled at Sylvia Young and then the Brits Academy.

She was just 13 of age when Leona entered the Lady D under-18 talent show at the Hackney Empire, and won. Leona has taken part in many talent competitions and shines every time. She has been on shows and acoustic gigs with her major performances including The Hackney Empire.

Although Leona's big passion really is singing she is also a very good dancer and actor.  Leona is currently in a relationship with a lad called Lou. They have been together four years now, but have lived on the same street since they were both from the age of ten.
