Over the past few months here at Tightsplease we have been looking into ways that we can be greener. We’ve been surprised at just how easy it can be to make little changes that have a huge impact on protecting the environment. Eco Friendly Products

Having a low impact on the environment doesn’t have to have a high impact on your purse. We are very pleased to be able to offer a range of products made from sustainable and organic crops. Check out the socks made from bamboo that are as affordable as they are eco friendly.

Reuse and Recycle

How do you reuse or recycle tights? We admit we were a bit puzzled by that question at first. Once we started researching we found plenty of ingenious ways to put those laddered tights to good use. Your old tights can even help a charity. The Addis Abada Fistula Hospital helps women who have suffered injury during childbirth. We think it is a fabulous way to recycle old tights.

Work in Progress

At the moment we don’t have any eco-friendly lingerie, but don’t worry our lingerie section has played a very important role in our quest to be green. We have started using “Biothene” mailing bags and for the past month all of the lingerie has been shipped out in these. The “Biothene” breaks down much faster that normal plastics and is much better for the environment. We feel that these new green bags have been a great success and hope to use them across the full Tightsplease range soon.
