Easy Living

Lynda Bell - Easy Living

"As usual, the shows in Paris cement the trends for each season, and most of the mainstream styles come from Paris.

The season looks dark - muddy colours, rich burgundy, warm rust as well as strong AW classic monochrome. However, Burberyy and Chloe also showed brights for the season, so there is room for color. Polka dots are a key detail - Prada, Louis Vuitton, marc Jacobs and Stella showed us how to make these modern and not passé. (See spots on Marc Jacob tights).

Final words on the season - tunics over trousers, a cocoon coat, check or tartan and just a hint of fetish / S&M. " - Lynda Bell, Easy Living.

Look Magazine

Kate Andrews - Look

"The a/w 2011 Prada show was up there in one of my favourites. It was all about the mish-mash of textures - snakeskins, suede, cashmere and fur, mixed up with flashes of colour. Princess coats were matched with sock like boots and oversized fur stoles gave a forties edge to bold checks. Muiccia wins hands down - again!" - Kate Andrews, Look.

Woman & Home

Angela Kennedy - Woman & Home

" I'm loving Burberry Porsum, Aquascutum, Daks and Jaeger - It's all about quirky tailoring and the new statement coat! The shape has shifted from traditional towards a powerful deconstructed feel - radical new coat shapes in sizzling colours. I love inspired tailoring, it makes such a strong fashion statement - super chic and super grown-up for women who know what they like / mean business." - Angela Kennedy, Woman & Home.

Company Magazine

Oonagh Brennan - Company

" Dare I say it but I can't get enough of 70's and am so happy it is continuing into a/w11. This season it's glossy and glamorous 70's for me, long boots, culottes and little fur trimmed jackets Gucci style." - Oonagh Brennan, Fashion Director -  Company Magazine

Harpers Bazaar

Julia Brennard - Harpers Bazaar

"The colour red! Or snakeskin. Or 90s grunge." - Julia Brennard, Harpers Bazaar
